Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Athens will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in Georgia usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 10 am–2 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Athens is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Athens is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This place I feel is a β€œhidden gem” not out in the open like your typical Starbucks or Dunkin. Takes a 30 second walk to get there from parking. Super cozy I was in awe of the place. I got a 16oz iced mocha latte and I always get an easier drink to make to just see how the quality is on my first visit. I was in shock how good and authentic this coffee tasted. A little on the more expensive side, yes but I feel you get your moneys worth with the quality and cozy quiet environment. I loved my experience and will be back so soon.

It's in a really convenient location, but also not super easy to find with just walking traffic. I've been here before, and the prices are on the somewhat expensive side, since it doesn't seem that they make their own syrups or roast their own coffee. They also don't show what roasts they use. Their espresso drinks are tasty and I enjoyed them, but nothing memorable. Their matcha is flavorless and disappointing. They have one person working, which makes wait times longer and she's working super hard to manage. The cafe is very cute and has wonderful decor and free wifi, I really like the vibe. They also don't accept cash (but have a tip jar?) which is a massive downside for me. Overall it feels like a cafe made just for the residents of the luxury student apartments.

I recently visited Daydreamer in Athens, Georgia, and I was thoroughly impressed! The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every customer feels welcome. The coffee is top-notch, with a rich and smooth flavor that stands out from other places. I tried their pumpkin cloud latte , and it was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. They also offer a variety of pastries and snacks that are fresh and delicious. Also vary welcoming to dogs!!!!
